Huge failure in Telangana during Lockdown

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a 21-day lockdown, till April 14th, urging all the citizens of India to stay at homes to reduce the risk of catching Coronavirus. Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has also requested the same of everyone living in the state.

However, because of the virus, several hostels have started to evacuate their inmates immediately, and are not even providing food for them. Because of this, all those students are now lining up in front of police stations to get a permit, so that they can all go homes.

This is a huge failure for the state of Telangana during this crucial lockdown. With the number of people in the line, mass gathering has become inevitable.

It is now to be seen what the government of Telangana will do.
