Kavitha to bag KTR's post soon

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter, Kalvakuntla Kavitha will be filing her nomination as Nizamabad local body elections MLC today.

Reportedly, Kavitha's tenure will last till January 4th, 2022. It is being said that the current IT minister of Telangana, K Tarakarama Rao will be appointed as the chief minister of the state by then.

If KCR decides to appoint KTR as the chief minister by 2022, Kavitha will be taking charge as the new IT minister. She will be replacing her elder brother.

KTR is already looking after the back-end activities in TRS and he might well be landing the chief minister post sooner or later.

Meanwhile, TRS has 592 members on its side in the local body elections and Congress has 142 members. Given TRS's strength in Nizamabad, Kavitha will be appointed as an MLC without too many complications.
