YCP government pooling funds for 'Amma Vodi' scheme

YCP government is all set to kick-start a new welfare scheme, 'Amma Vodi'. YS Jagan himself will be launching this scheme on January 9th.

Apparently, the YCP government has started pooling funds for the scheme. It passed a GO that allots financial support for this scheme from other government departments.

The government will be spending around Rs 6,109 crores on this mega implementation.

As per 'Amma Vodi' scheme, every mother who has a shool-going child will be receiving a financial aide of Rs 15,000 per year for the remaining four years of YCP government's tenure.

'Amma Vodi' was one of the biggest prominent of YS Jagan in his election campaigning. He is not willing to compromise on this scheme.
