Chandigarh: In order to strengthen their hold in the Haryana Assembly elections, the stalwarts of all political parties will be in the fray on Friday. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will address an election rally in Mahendragarh, Haryana on Friday. According to sources, this rally of Sonia will be held at the Government College Sports Complex of Mahendragarh at three o'clock in the day in which she will ask for votes for the party candidates in the state.

It will be Sonia's first election rally after Rahul Gandhi's resignation as the party's interim president. The national general secretary and in-charge of Haryana, Ghulam Nabi Azad, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja and many local leaders and candidates are expected to be present in this public meeting in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On Friday, where Sonia Gandhi will be in the fray from Congress, then many MPs and big faces including BJP PM Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, General VK Singh, Hema Malini, Gautam Gambhir and Ravi Kishan will try to woo the public.

PM Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Gohana, Haryana at 12.30 pm and after that, at 2.30 he will also address the public in Hisar. Apart from them, Rajnath Singh will attack the opposition in Jhajhar, Faridabad and Gurugram of Haryana and will appeal to the public for their candidates.
