UP Govt Massive Decision

If your children go to school by bus or van, you'll definitely love this new system. The Yogi government in the province has laid down special rules for school vehicles, taking lessons from the day-to-day tragedies. It has now been made mandatory for students in school buses and vans to fasten seat belts. In the last week of July, the DM's committee will meet with school operators to implement the new rules in August.

After amending the Motor Vehicles Rules, the responsibility of delivering the children to and from the school bus and van to the safe house will be on the shoulders of the school administration. Yet the seat belt was mandatory just for the driver. Now, Uttar Pradesh Transport Commissioner, Endurance Sahu has written a letter to the Deputy Transport Commissioner of the state, Parikshetra, RTO and ARTO in this regard. It may be mentioned that 21 types of rules have been framed for educational institutions, schools and contract buses.

Under this, the bus and van of the educational institution will not be more than 15 years old, while the private and school vans should not be more than 10 years old. On the other hand, it has been made mandatory for the driver as well as children to fasten seat belts in school vehicles. On which the Unnao ARTO has also started preparations. ARTO Anil Kumar Tripathi has said that a notice has been sent to the school operators for the motor vehicle manual amendment.
