Jagitial Bus Accident: Telangana Govt announces exgratia to Victim families

Jagitial: As we know that, Nearly 56 people have killed and many others injured after TSRTC Bus overturns here on Tuesday. The incident has occurred at Kondagattu Ghat Road Highway in Jagitial district.

According to reports, The speeding RTC bus has turned after slipped into the small gorge, 56 people are killed and 30 others injured. The bus was en route towards Jagitial. The Bus having nearly 93 passengers including women and Children.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed disbelief and shock at the accident. Expressing sympathy over the loss of lives and anguish at the accident, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure the best possible medical care to the injured.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister, Transport Minister Mahender Reddy and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha have rushed to the accident site at Kondagattu in Jagtial district to oversee relief operations.

At least persons died in the accident when a TSRTS bus plunged down the hillside early Tuesday morning.

In a tweet, Kavitha said: "Unfortunately, a grave accident took place at Kondagattu. Many lives lost. TS government has declared Rs 5 lakh per person. My prayers for the departed souls and families in grief."

The MP added that Rama Rao, Mahender Reddy and herself were rushing to the accident spot.

Minister Mahender Reddy has announced ex gratia Rs.3 lakhs to the victim families.
