New Delhi, Aug 25: Here is the latest update of RRB ALP Admit Card has revealed today.

Railway Recruitment Board will be conducting Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician exam on August 29. The exam will be held in three shifts.

Candidates can download their admit card either on indianrailways.gov.in or by visiting respective RRB site.

For August 29 exam, admit card or e-call letter has been made available on the RRB sites from today.

Currently, RRB is conducting the computer-based test for 60,000 posts of assistant loco pilot and technicians. As many as 47.55 lakh candidates have applied for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technicians posts.

The exam is being held in 15 regional languages.

A candidate can download his/her admit card using the registration number and date of birth.

Indian Railways has also been running exam special trains for the convenience of the candidates.

Railways had said that turnout for this year's RRB exam is highest ever for the recruitment board. As many as 2.4 crore aspirants have applied for 1.2 lakh posts.

Due to a large number of applicants, 17 percent of candidates have been assigned centers outside 500 kilometers radius of their residences while 83 percent candidates have been assigned centers within 500 km radius.

Indian Railways has tied up with the TCS to conduct the CBT. It had said that no two question papers will be alike.

The next sets of the exam will be held on August 29, 30 and 31. Once the exams for ALP and technicians get over, Indian Railways will start Level-I (Group D) exams for which a whopping 1.9 crore candidates are in the fray. There are 63,000 Level-I posts.
