Megastar Chiranjeevis Sye Raa Teaser date locked

Hyderabad, Aug 15: Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming periodic film 'Sye Raa' shooting is going on brisk pace.

In the latest update, The teaser of upcoming much awaited multilingual drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role will be out on 21st August at 11:30 am on the occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is directed by Dhruva fame Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan under his home banner of Konidela Production Company.

The makers have confirmed the release date of the teaser by sharing a poster and wrote on the twitter page of Konidela production, "Unveiling the teaser of #SyeRaaNarasimhaReddy on 21st August at 11:30 AM #MegastarChiranjeevi #SyeRaaJourneyBegins #HappyIndependenceDay #SyeRaa"

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 200 Cr. Chiranjeevi is essaying the role of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Apart from Megastar, Sye Raa has other stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Nayantara, Tamannah Bhatia, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Ravi Kishan, Jagapathi Babu and others in supporting role and it has the music by Amit Trivedi.

Hollywood stunt director Greg Powell is on the board to choreograph the stunt sequences. The filmmakers of Sye Raa have also assembled a solid technical crew, including cinematographer R Rathnavelu. Surender Reddy roped in Amit Trivedi after holding discussions with music maestro Ilaiyaraaja and M.M. Keeravani.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Rayalaseema freedom fighter. He is touted to be one of the first freedom fighters in India and his first revolt against the British rule apparently came a decade before India's first war of independence in 1857. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was captured and publicly hanged in 1847. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.
