Virat Kohli about Lords test

London, Aug 13: We all knew that, India suffered huge lose against England at the lords test here on Sunday, now India leading the test series with 2-0.

In this regard, India Skipper Virat Kohli said that, He has called on his players to accept their mistakes and learn from them before the third Test against England.

India were blown away for a crushing innings-and-159-run defeat on the fourth day at Lord's on Sunday, 12 August. Kohli, who himself didn't get going in either innings, readily accepted that India had simply not been up to the mark, and called on his men to get their act together before the third Test in Nottingham.

"It's our job and our duty to play for the country, and we should be better than that," insisted Kohli, the number one-ranked batsman in both Tests and one-day internationals.

"Unless you accept that, you can't improve and compete. We have to accept what we did wrong – mistakes have been made – and not repeat them again."

He added: "Credit has to go to England who were clinical with the bat, ball and in the field. They deserved to win and we deserved to lose."

"We're thinking of nothing else but to go 2-1 in the series, and from thereon build on that strongly. This is the first time in the last five Tests we've been really outplayed ... we've competed in every game".
