Chennai, July 11: Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth- Director Shanker Most anticipated project 2.O is ready to hit the screens on November 29.

The filmmakers confirmed the new a while ago. 2.0 is billed as the most expensive Indian feature film ever made. The film also stars sexy star, Amy Jackson.

According to the sources, The film was earlier expected to release on Republic Day, 2019 and clash with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30. However, looks like the makers of 2.0 are excited to unleash the film in 2018 itself and have thus preponed the release date.

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is a sequel to his 2010 sci-fi film Enthiran starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film was released in Hindi as Robot and in Telugu as Robo.

In this regard, the Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that, "Rajinikanth. Akshay Kumar... #2Point0 release date finalized: 29 Nov 2018... Directed by Shankar... Music by AR Rahman... The official announcement,"

This prequel stars Rajinikanth, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. It is known that Lyca Productions is producing it with whopping Rs 400 Cr budget in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. It will be released in all languages simultaneously.

Oscar Winner A R Rehman has given the music and the songs were released last year itself and the music has failed to create any impact.

Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, 2.0 has other stars like Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Riyaz Khan and Adil Hussain in supporting roles.

2.0 would be Rajinikanth’s second film after his entry into politics. Rajinikanth was last seen in recently released gangster drama Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Dhanush. The Film has failed to create the magic of Rajinikanth, poor collection ended as the disaster for Super Star.
