Mumbai, July 06: Karenjit Kaur Vohra known by her stage name Sunny Leone is a Canadian-born Indian-American actress and model and is a former pornstar.

She has played roles in independent mainstream events, films and television shows. However, her first mainstream appearance was in 2005, when she worked as a red carpet reporter for the MTV Video Music Awards on MTV India.

In 2012 she made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt's erotic thriller Jism 2 (2012) and shifted her focus to mainstream acting which was followed up with Jackpot (2013), Ragini MMS 2 (2014) and Ek Paheli Leela (2015).

Like few, now the Bollywood actress Sunny leone's biopic has been getting ready entitled as 'Karenjit Kaur Vohra: The untold story' based on the life of the actress. Unlike a movie, this is portrayed as a web series.



The filmmakers have just dropped a trailer which seems pretty interesting. The trailer starts with Sunny's make-up scene. Subsequently, it is shown how she faced the bitter experiences of her childhood.

The trailer shows, Sunny who was born to Indian immigrants in Canada and the financial difficulties in the family encouraged Sunny to join a join career in erotic entertainment.

Then after entering into modeling, photo shoots, Scolded by Parents and also the way how she has been asked vulgar questions in the interview. The series will be aired on an English Channel on 16th of this month.

To sum it up, Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone tracks a "girl next door's" deafening journey to being a successful adult star and then a Bollywood diva. Rysa Saujani(14) plays the younger version of Sunny Leone in the web-series, which will premiere on July 16.

Apart from her acting career she has been part of activism campaigns including the Rock 'n' Roll Los Angeles Half-Marathon to raise money for the American Cancer Society and has also posed for a 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) ad campaign with a rescued dog, encouraging pet owners to have their cats and dogs anti-septicized.
