Man kills mother for family honour

Hyderabad, June 28: Here is cruel incident has occurred while, A youth has killed his 40 yr old mother, for family honour, in Yellareddyguda in Hyderabad.

The woman was allegedly killed by her son at their house here over a failed chit fund business run by her, police said today.

The accused Madan was taken into custody after his family members, on being informed by him about the late last night killing, alerted the police, Assistant Commissioner of police Vijay Kumar said.



He was feeling humiliated with depositors frequently visiting their house seeking a return of their deposits made in the chit fund, another police official said quoting preliminary investigations.

Madan was furious and picked up a huge row with his mother, at the end of which, he throttled her to death, police said.

The victim's father said that his daughter had come away from home as her husband was torturing her. Later, her son came and took her home, he added.
