Minor girl hangs herself after her pics on Fb

Hyderabad, June 21: Here is a drastic incident has unveiled, while a 17 yr old young girl has committed suicide after a man forcibly married her and posted the pictures on Facebook here on Thursday.

The girl named as Bhavani, a minor was forced to get married to the accused, Babu after he threatened her.

Unable to deal with the humiliation, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her room. The incident took place in Swarnapuri colony, Miyapur area of Hyderabad.

According to the victim's mother, the accused had threatened her previously to elope with him but the girl had refused.

She demanded justice for her daughter and strict action against the accused, Babu who has absconded. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
