High temperatures witnessed in Andhra Pradesh

Vishakapatnam, June 19: In a shocking news, The Heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated places in all the districts of coastal AP on Tuesday. Maximum temperatures are likely to be around 40 to 42 degree C which is 3 to 4 C above normal at a few places over coastal AP on Tuesday.

The city recorded the highest temperature in June on Monday, over the last 32 years.

The last recorded temperature to cross 41 degree Celsius was on June 6 in 1976 when the mercury soared to 41.4 degree Celsius. On Monday the temperature recorded was 41.6 degrees Celsius.

According to the weatherman at the Cyclone Warning Centre, this year the city has been recording abnormal temperature in June.
