Ireland and Scotland T20 Match creates record

The Netherlands, June 18: There is a rare occasion in the history of international T20. The T20 match between Scotland and Ireland ended in the record books.

The result has not occurred in a bilateral T Twenty20 match between the teams. Scotland batted first and scored 185 for four wickets in the limited overs and then Ireland also scored 185. The match ended in a tie.

Scotland won the toss and chose to bat in the final match as part of the six T20s. In Scotland players, George Munse (46), Coetzer (54) and McLeod (46) Ireland then played aggressively in order to break the target. Earlier, Ireland's opener Paul Stirling (81; 5 fours and six sixes) played just one. Ireland's victory was found to be successful. But Scotland bowlers were bowled by the end of the bowling, and Ireland ended the run before winning the match.

Brief scores: Scotland 185/4 in 20 overs (Kyle Coetzer 54, Calum MacLeod 46*, George Munsey 46; Simi Singh 1-34) vs Ireland 185/6 in 20 overs (Paul Stirling 81, Kevin O' Brien 28; Safyaan Sharif 2-31) Match tied.
