Current bill Rs. 3,3,81,571; Changing month-by-month

Hyderabad, June 13: Telangana Electricity Department Officers administration had shocked a woman. The woman D. Swarupa, who lives in Boduppall of Srinivasanagar in Hyderabad was issued an electricity bill of amount Rs. 3,81,571 and asked to pay till 24th of this month.

# The bill was passed for 1 month (i.e., from May 9 - June 10) and in that it was mentioned that she had used 40,059 units of electricity at her home.

# Under electricity charge Rs. 3,79,087 and then an additional charge of Rs. 2,403 should be paid.

However, the electricity department has responded to Swarupa's current bill.

Telangana state Southern Power Discom Company Limited commented that this may have happened due to a technical error. The executives were sent to her house to check the meter reading, they stated.

Despite this issue, many of the people till now have got the hike in their electricity bills. And the thing here is to be observed that the incline in the bill has been rising in its number but not just being constant (or) reducing.

People are questioning that, When the usage of appliances is same all through the year where is the need for the bill to upsurge. Yes, there may be a slight change in usage of mechanism then there should be a slight variation in current bill eventually.

Earlier incident:

The citizen from Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, BK Guda had shocked after seeing his current bill of 7,000 at a time. Though he tried to make the problem solve, it couldn't happen so he paid the bill then.

And after that in the next month, his bill got incremented to 11,000 at a time, which further became a more burden to pay it off.
