Kaala: Trade talk at the US box office

Hyderabad, June 11: The Super Star Rajinikanth New Film Kaala has getting mixed response from the fans, Although it saw good growth in collections on Friday and Saturday, "Kaala" has not brought smiles to its US distributor.

According to the sources, The film's first weekend (four days + premiere) gross stands at $1.55 million, which is the too low amount for a Rajini movie.

The film grossed more than $4 million in its first weekend setting box-office on fire and its premiere gross was $1.9 million.

The poor talk around the film, low ratings and bad word-of-mouth didn't attract the Telugu and Hindi audiences to watch this movie. However, Tamil audiences did go to watch it. In all, the film will incur huge losses to the distributors.
