Hyderabad to get 826 new Bus Shelters: KTR

Hyderabad, Mar 31: The Telangana IT Minister KTR has inaugurated the two air-conditioned modern bus shelters at Khairatabad near RTA Office and KPHB near Kukatpally

Earlier, The first air-conditioned modern bus shelter near Shilparamam in Madhapur also inaugurated by KTR.

Minister KTR said that The Govt will modernize the 3800 buses and also planned to launch 500 electric buses to made the city as pollution free.

The bus shelters will be equipped with fans, toilet for men and women, mobile charging points, Wi-Fi and water dispensing unit bus shelters will have basic facilities like mobile charging points,emergency horn, passenger information system and CCTV cameras.

GHMC is constructing 826 bus shelters in four packages on Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) basis. Shelters are been divided into four grades namely advanced bus shelters, proficient bus shelters,basic bus shelters and minimal bus shelters.

MLA Arikapudi Gandhi, Mayer bonthu Rammohan Rao and other are present at the event.
