Telangana to improve education

Hyderabad December 14 : Telangana state Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister, Sri Kadiyam Srihari today discussed with scotland team to extend help to Telangana to offer qualitative education with a focus on standards and quality.

Deputy Chief Minister today held a important meeting with Scotland delegates and apprised them of steps being taken to strengthen education sector.

The scotland team promised to provide help on three issues

*Make changes in teaching methods

*Improving teaching skills among Teachers

*To provide market opportunities to students with soft skills.

Kadiyam earlier explained about the steps towards improving standards at the state level. In addition to 240 Gurukul Schools the government had began 254 schools, this year and is planning to open up 210 by the next academic year, he said.

To reduce drop out rate at schools and intermediate level, the government began providing the best possible facilities including water (or) Plants, Computer labs, bio metric machines, digital classes, power, toilets, clean premises, running water and others he said.

He further said that Telangana knowledge centers had aimed to provide employment to students who have completed degree courses and introduced digital classes at schools level he explained.

Besides the facilities training for teachers also being offered.
