Newly married: Wife kills Husband

Srikakulam, May 29: Here is a brutal incident has occurred while a woman stabbed her husband to death, was arrested in Srikakulam district. The accused Neelima and the victim Budda Naveen Kumar had married on May 9 this year.

As per the police, Neelima was not happy with the marriage as she was forced to marry Naveen against her choice.

Neelima's family's economic condition was not good and her family was not in a position to afford the dowry. Her family happily agreed to marry Neelima with Naveen as he agreed to it without any dowry. She married Naveen under pressure from her family and relatives.

However, she was looking for an opportunity to get rid of Naveen. After spending about 20 days at her in-laws' place, she went to her parents home at village Gadalam with her husband.

While returning home, she stabbed her husband in the throat at Rail Nilayam near Kotabommali mandal and ran away leaving him on the spot. She was later arrested by police near the incident spot.

Naveen was rushed to a nearby hospital by locals. He was later referred to RIMS in Srikakulam as his condition worsened.

Police registered a case and launched a further probe into it. Santa Bommali SI Rama Rao is investigating the case.
