Telangana first AC bus shelter inaugurated

Hyderabad, May 22:The Telangana IT Minister KTR has laid a foundation stone for strengthening and re-carpeting of BT roads and laying of CC roads at HMT Hills in Kukatpally.
Minister Mahender Reddy, Chevella MP @VishweshwarRed1, Serilingampally MLA @arekapudigandhi participated in the program.
The first air-conditioned modern bus shelter near Shilparamam in Madhapur has been inaugurated by Municipal Administration & Urban Development minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday.
Two other advanced or Grade 1 bus shelters are in final stages near RTA office in Khairatabad and KPHB near Kukatpally, and will be opened for public soon.
The bus stops will also have other facilities like separate toilets for men and women, water vending machines, passenger information system and CCTV cameras.
The Grade 2 bus shelters will be equipped with fans, toilet for men and women, mobile charging points, Wi-Fi and water dispensing unit.
The Grade 3 bus shelters will have basic facilities like mobile charging points, toilets for men and women and water dispensing unit.
GHMC is constructing 826 bus shelters in four packages on Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Transfer (DBFOT) basis. Shelters are been divided into four grades namely advanced bus shelters, proficient bus shelters,basic bus shelters and minimal bus shelters.
