KCR Expresses happiness over prestigious scheme

Hyderabad, May 22: Telangana Govt has launched the one of the prestigious scheme Rythu Bandhu recently, the scheme getting an immense response from the farmers and other people, although several leaders objected the scheme.

Here Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed satisfaction over the successful distribution of pattadar passbooks and cheques under Rythu Bandhu scheme.

The Chief Minister convened a high-level meeting at Pragati Bhavan on Monday noon to review the programme as well as to draw a strategy for effective completion of passbook distribution and investment support scheme.

The high level meeting will also review life insurance scheme for farmers, according to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office.

Earlier Kodandaram has expressed that, The uncultivated land is the property of realtors who use it for business purposes. We have seen people coming in swanky SUVs to take Rythu Bandhu cheques. As a result of this, Rs 1,720 crore is going to realtors and non-land cultivating owners This is proof enough that there are loopholes in the scheme and we call upon the government to revise it and ensure that it benefits only the farmers."
