Bangalore, May 09: Preparations for the upcoming polls in Karnataka in the next week are underway amid tight security. Ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections 2018, Chief Electoral Officer Sanjiv Kumar on Tuesday dwelled upon the preparedness.
According to the media sources, a total of 58,000 booths have been set up out of which 600 will be fully run by women and ten plus booths will be run by the disabled people.
we knew that, The polling for the 224-member assembly will be held on May 12. The results will be declared on 15th.
"Total 58,000 booths have been set up out of which 600 will be fully run by women and will be known as pink booths, 10 plus booths will be run by disabled people and 28 booths will have an ethnic design," Chief Electoral Officer Sanjiv Kumar told to media
