I became fan of that hero: Rajamouli

Hyderabad, May 09: The much-awaited biopic Mahanati released on Wednesday in the Telugu States and the US. Mahanati is based on the life of legendary actor Savitri, whose work has a special place in the history of Indian cinema

Director SS Rajamouli who watched 'Mahanati' movie, is all praise of actress Keerthy Suresh who played the title role. He took it on his official Twitter handle and added that Keerthy's performance is one of the finest he ever watched.

Rajamouli also added that director Nag Ashwin and Swapna Dutt's efforts and determination in bringing an epic based on a real life are remarkable. Lastly the 'Baahubali' director said he is a fan of actor Dulquer Salmaan with this flick.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh has played the iconic movie star in the film, which will release in Tamil as Nadigaiyar Thilagam on Friday. It has a huge star cast including Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Devarakonda, Kajal Agarwal and Shalini Pandey among others. Mahanati is helmed by Yevade Subramanyam director Nag Aswin.
