FIR filed on famous news channel Chief Arnab Goswami

New Delhi, May 07: The famous news channel editor-in-chief of Republic TV Goswami and Two Others (Feroz Shaikh, Niteish Sarda) were booked for allegedly abetting the suicide of an Interior Designer and his Mother.

In the suicide note, Concorde Designs Pvt Ltd MD Anvay Naik accused the trio of forcing him to suicide by not paying his dues collectively amounting to Rs 5.40 crore. The Interior Designer & his Mother were found in their farmhouse on Saturday morning. While Naik killed himself by hanging, His Mother's body was found on the bed. Anvay's Wife Akshata Naik lodged a police complaint.

As per the Police Complaint, Feroz Shaikh hasn't paid Rs 4 crore to the Anvay Naik for projects at Andheri. While Rs 83 lakh dues wasn't paid by Arnab Goswami for the Bombay Dyeing Studio Project, Niteish Sarda is yet to pay Rs 55 lakh for working on few projects.

Republic TV Editor issued a statement saying false and malicious campaign is being run against Arnab Goswami by few groups with vested interest. He clarified all the payments had been made on time as per the contract.
