Hyderabad, May 04: Pawan Kalyan announced Dev as the party's chief political strategist recently. Dev, who has been working with the party for 10 months, would focus on election plans and other matters, Kalyan said in a party release.

JSP leaders admitted that they were not aware that the so-called strategist's actual name was Vasudev and that he was closely related to Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha.
In fact, the Congress leader admitted to the meida that Vasudev was his nephew and said as far as he knew, Vasudev was still a member of the BJP.
Inquiries revealed that Vasudev had tried for a BJP ticket for Sanathnagar assembly constituency, but as part of alliance, it had gone to the TDP.
"After that, nobody knows how he had become political strategist. He claims to have a team of 40 members, but nobody knows that the name of his organisation is and for which party it had worked in the past," they said.
