Federal front: KCR calls regional parties to unite

Hyderabad, May 02: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's asserted that, Unite various regional parties across the country in the run-up to the 2019 polls appear to be gradually picking up momentum.

Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh (UP) Akhilesh Yadav met CM KCR on Wednesday.IT Minister KT Rama Rao, who is the son of TS Chief Minister KCR, and Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav welcomed Akhilesh at the airport.

Later, KCR, Akhilesh and the rest are discussing the current political situation in the country. KCR is meeting Akhilesh, in the context of putting together a federal front of all parties, against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress, in the Centre.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have failed to address the people’s problems in the last 70 years. The Front we are proposing is a "different front", a Federal Front and it will be according to people’s needs.", CM KCR said.

KCR also said that He had spoken with Akhilesh Yadav several times over the month and said they are trying to make a transition in the country.
