AP CM to launch new agiation against PM Modi

Vijayawada, May 02: TDP National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to launch the agitation against Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi by taking the battle to every nook and corner of the state.

As part of the strategy, Naidu decided to hold Tirupati-type of public meetings in all the 13 districts, starting with this month.

He would play the same cassette again and again in every district, displaying video footage of Modi's speech on the giant screens at every public meeting.

He would explain how the PM had betrayed the people of the state by going back on his pre-election promises of granting special category status and implementation of the assurances given in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Apparently, Naidu got the feedback that the Tirupati meeting was big success. While attacking Modi is one major objective of Naidu, he wants to go all out to expose the alleged nexus between the BJP and the YSR Congress party.

He told the party functionaries to focus mostly on linking the YSR Congress party with the BJP at every given opportunity.

"It is pretty evident with the dilution of CBI cases against mining tycoon Gali Janardhan Reddy that the BJP was taking the help of corrupt and criminal persons to gain the foothold in the south.

The ED cases against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy also are getting diluted. What message the BJP is giving by such moves? We have to expose it," Naidu told them.
