TRS leaders makes Party fund doubled with huge donations

Hyderabad, Apr 27: The 17th TRS plenary has begun at GBR Cultural Society in Kompally, Hyderabad today.

Around 15,000 people's representatives attended the programme.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday said Telangana had emerged as the trend-setter with several unique programmes, both for development and welfare of people, which are being sought to be replicated in other States.

In the plenary session, TRS leaders have announced as Rs, 20 crores 41 lakh as party fund.

The previous TRS party fund is so far Rs. 21 crores 67 lakhs. With the addition of latest donations, Party funds reaches to Rs 42 crores 8 lakhs, said KCR.

He also made it clear that the details will be submitted to Income Tax and Election Commission soon.
