Bengaluru, Apr 13: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has met former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda in Bengaluru on Friday to take forward his plans to form a Federal Front with non-BJP and non-Congress political parties.
KCR's visit is a short one as he will be returning to Hyderabad at 5.30 pm today.
During the meet, he plans to hold talks on the need for formation of a Federal Front by bringing together various political parties and is likely to take Deve Gowda’s suggestions in this regard.
Former Jharkhand chief minister Hemanth Soren, and actor Prakash Raj have also backed the chief minister on his initiative.
CM KCR has praised Versatile actor and social activist Prakash Raj for his struggle for society, poor people and backward classes people and adding that Prakash is my close friend.
The Chief Minister is accompanied by his daughter and Nizamabad MP Kavitha, TRS leader in Rajya Sabha K Keshava Rao, special advisor to CM Rajiv Sharma, chief advisor Rajiv Sharma and a couple of officers from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
