Kadiyam Srihari urges officials to develop  digital commerce courses

Hyderabad, Apr 09: Telangana Education Minister Kadiam Srihari asserted the need to develop new commerce courses in tune with market requirements.

He wanted Telangana to sow seeds for digital commerce courses by combining information technology and commerce.

The Minister directed Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram and Palamuru University Vice-Chancellor Rajarathnam to take up the task of preparing the new commerce courses.

Addressing a national conference on 'Digital Commerce – Opportunities and Challenges' organised by Badruka College of Commerce and Arts here on Saturday, he said the State was incurring a loss of Rs 2,000 crore annually due to GST.

Though there were assurances from the Centre to address the issue, there was no methodology developed for the same, he said
