Coming to details, America President Donald Trump administration wants all the US non-immigrant visa applicants to submit their phone numbers used in the last 5 years, multiple email addresses and social media histories.

The latest move is part of the US government's "vetting" practice and to prevent entry of people who might "pose a threat' to the country.

The information will be used to vet and identify them, according to the proposals, which would affect about 14.7 million people annually.

The proposals support President Donald Trump’s promise to institute “extreme vetting” of foreigners entering the United states to prevent terrorism.
