Indian Women Cricket Team Creates History but Lost the Game

Mumbai, Mar 25: Indian women cricket team created a world record by scoring 198 runs against England team at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai in the ongoing Tri-nation series. But eventually, they lost the Game.

Notably, this is the second highest score scripted in T20 International match by the women cricketers. In 2010, South Africa topped the list with 205/1 against the Netherlands, followed by Australia (191/3), New Zealand (188/3) and England (187/5).

However, england Player Wyatt's heroics made the chase a walk in the park for the visitors as they romped home with eight balls to spare. The earlier highest chase in women's T20 internationals was also by England, which came against Australia, in Canberra in 2017.
