BJP looses Loksabha and Assembly Bypolls in Bihar

Bihar Mar 14: In a Major setback for BJP it has lost one Loksabha seat and one assembly by-poll in Bihar and has won one assembly seat.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has won the Jehanabad assembly seat and Araria Lok Sabha seat in Bihar. BJP has won Bhabua assembly seat.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal has won the Araria Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 61988 votes. RJD candidate Sarafaraz Alam got 50,9334 votes, BJP's Pradip Singh trailed behind with 447346 votes.
In Bhabua, BJP's Rinky Rani has defeated Congress Shambhu Singh Patel by over 11,000 votes. In Jehnabad has RJD's Sunday Yadav defeated JD(U)'s Abhiram Sharna by over 35,000 votes.
