Congress to feild candidate for RS

Hyderabad Mar 10: In a Move to ensure to check the rise of the growing TRS Party in the Telangana state the Congress party in the state has decided to field a Candidate for Rajya Sabha in the upcoming elections.

The Congress has felt it has currently 20 MLAs in the state. They are in talks with other parties such as Left, MIM, TDP MLAs so that they can win a Rajyasabha seat. Currently, 30 MLAs are required to win an MP seat.

The TRS has decided to field 3 candidates in the RS. Congress felt that fielding a candidate would ensure that the cadre would be in high spirit and it would help the party to grow in the state
