Many countries to participate in Indian aviation show in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 07: The Wings India 2018 aviation show, jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India (AAI), will commence in Hyderabad from Thursday.

The four-day event will be formally launched by Civil Aviation Minister P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju at Begumpet airport at 10 a.m., an official statement said on Wednesday.

The theme of the biennial event this time is 'India-Global Aviation Hub' and the focus will be on connecting the cities and towns aimed at increasing the regional connectivity in the country.

Fifteen aircraft by ATR, Honda, TruJet, Gulfstream, Boeing, Embraer , Dassault, Club One Air, Aeroteck, Zoom Air, Air India, NAL and others will be on static display.

The US, UK, Japan, Russia, Singapore, France, Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Italy and Iran will participate in the event.
