Court issues Non Bailable Warrant against Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi

Mumbai Mar 3: Recently a big scam took place in Punjab National Bank and the main culprit is Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi and they have looted RS 12,500 Cr and they have left the country.Currently, Many Investigative agencies are investigating the cases and are attaching the properties of them.

A Special PMLA Court on Friday has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi in the PNB fraud case.The ED has said that "the NBWs will facilitate the extradition of the two once their whereabouts are ascertained."

Officials have also said that "It will also enable ED to be a claimant to Modi's properties in the US, under freeze now, as the latter's flagship firm Firestar Inc has applied for bankruptcy to a US court."
