AP Deputy CM holds a two-day meeting with Joint Collectors

Vijayawada, Feb 27: The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Revenue Minister KE Krishna Murthy will hold a two-day meeting with Joint Collectors, Revenue and Registration officials from Tuesday here to review various issues.

An official release here Monday said that the Mr Murthy will hold the meeting with Joint Collectors of 13 districts, 39 Tahasildars and 39 surveyors. The meeting is being held aiming to expedite the implementation of reforms in the revenue department.

The implementation of reforms in the revenue department and the problems, being faced by the officials and solutions would be reviewed at the meeting.

The Deputy Chief Minister would review the regularization of house sites to those who encroached government lands, grievances of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement package and the lands given to freedom fighters and ex-service men.

He would also review the implementation of bio-metric attendance, e-office and construction of toilets as part of ODF programme.
