Congress bus yatra starts in Telangana today

Hyderabad, Feb 26: Congress Party in Telangana has decided to do bus yatra.In order to gain the power in the upcoming elections the Congress party focusing the issues right from now.

The Congress bus yatra, which will be held in two phases from 26 February to 21 March and from 1 April to 15 May, is being seen as part of its preparation for the 2019 assembly elections.

The party senior leaders will be undertaking individual walkathons and hold public meetings, to remind the public regarding the state government’s unfulfilled promises.

The entire programme is set to cover all the 119 state assembly constituencies, In this regard, All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi is likely to attend the public meeting on June 1.

"All we need is to ignite the existing discontentment and the bus yatra will do that. We will expose the Government's failures at the ground level rather than from the State capital," TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said.
