Prepaid cards to be distributed for Farmers

Hyderabad Feb 26: In a Move to ensure that Farmer's life in Telangana Is turned around the State CM KCR has unveiled a new roadmap and has announced steps that would ensure that Farmer would receive minimum support price for his crop in the state in Telangana.

CM has said that "the State government would allocate Rs 12,000 crore exclusively for the Farmers’ Investment Support Scheme (FISS) and under this scheme Rs 4000 would be given to farmer per season as an input cost to buy fertilizers. "

He has also said that "Prepaid cards would be given to farmers and money would be deposited to them so that they can use as per wish .All FCC must ensure that framers bring their crops in a controlled and organized way so that no middlemen can profit their earnings".

He has made the above remarks during an interactive session held with district and Mandal Farmer Cordination commitee members. He has announced that G Sukehender Reddy as the president of State Farmer Cordination commitee .
