Muslims urge KCR to fulfill promises of 12 % reservation

Hyderabad Feb 24 The All India Muslim Minority Organisation (AIMMO), on Thursday has demanded the Telangana Government to fulfill its promises of giving 12 % reservation and reminded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao about his assurance on the reservation.

A former member of the AP State Minorities Commission, MA Siddiqui pointed out that nothing has been done in the last four years.

He had Mentioned KCR's promise of 12 percent reservation for Muslims said that "if the Chief Minister fails to keep his promise, Muslims won't be willing to co-operate with his leadership."

AIMMO members also demanded Waqf properties be safeguarded and take stern action against land grabbers occupying them.
