15th BioAsia Science Conference inaugurated at HICC

Hyderabad, Feb 23: The 15th edition of BioAsia, the flagship life sciences and pharmaceuticals conference of Telangana government, got off to an impressive start at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), here on Thursday evening.

About 1500 delegates from 55 countries are expected to attend the three-day conference, based on the theme "Right Time, Right Now" with focus on strategies to take on the rapid phase of change, ways to develop new models for distribution and healthcare delivery, among others.

Ireland, the Netherlands and South Africa are the international partners, while Gujarat, Assam, and Rajasthan are state partners for the event.

During the event, the Telangana government will be looking to leverage its industry-friendly policies and infrastructure to attract more global investment.

High-profile delegations from the partner countries and states will be exploring, during the numerous sessions and meetings, the possibilities of business opportunities and collaborations in the fields of research and innovations.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was the Chief Guest, while stakeholders of pharma and life sciences sector from different parts of the world were present at the inaugural ceremony.
