Man arrested for kissing woman in Railway Station

Mumbai, Feb 23: In an embarrassing situation, A 43-year-old man was on Thursday arrested in Navi Mumbai by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) after he allegedly tried to forcibly kiss a woman commuter, sources said.

According to the reports, The incident happened when the girl, who is in her early 20s, was waiting for the local train at Turbhe railway station.

In the CCTV footage, the accused can be seen following the girl. Next, he grabs her and kisses her forcibly. The girl pushes him back in defense and the man leaves casually from the spot.

"We have registered a case under IPC section 354 (A) (sexual harassment) and are investigating the matter," Krishna Kadam, the inspector said to media.
