PM Modi urges youth to vote in Tripura

Tripura Feb 18: The voting in Tripura has begun at 7 am today.Currently, polling is going in 3,214 polling stations.For the first time, the state will see a direct contest between the left front and the BJP.

Polling is being held for 59 of the 60 assembly seats today. Tripura has about 26 lakh voters, about half of them are women. The number of third gender voters is 11. There are 47,803 new voters this time.

Earlier PM Modi has urged the youth to come out and vote in large numbers.He has tweeted "I appeal to my sisters and brothers of Tripura, particularly young voters, to turn out in record numbers and cast their vote in the Assembly Elections."
