US President Donald Trump meets Florida Shooting Victims

Washington Feb 17: United States president Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on Friday had visited the victims of the Parkland, Florida mass shooting Friday night, immediately after his arrival in Florida.

The president has praised the incredible work of doctors, nurses and first responders who helped victims after the shooting. He has said that " it was very sad that something like that could happen."

The president on Thursday has called all United States embassies, public buildings, military facilities, diplomatic sites, naval vessels, consular offices, other facilities abroad to fly their flags at half-staff through Monday.

Earlier a 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz gunned down at least 17 people on Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.He was a former student and was expelled from the school for disciplinary reasons.
