Andhra CM Naidu held review meeting with TDP MPs

Vijayawada, Feb 11: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting at his residence at Vundavalli, near here on Sunday with some of the party MPs, TDP state president K Kala Venkata Rao and officials.

The Chief Minister reviewed the statement, made by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Parliament and the outcome of the discussion of Union Minister Y Sujana Chowdary with Mr. Jaitely.

TDP MPs Galla Jayadev and K Rammohan Naidu, who raised the TDP's voice strongly and impressively in the Lok Sabha, Finance Secretary M Ravinchandra and CMO,s Advocate General Dhammalapati Srinivas, attended the review meeting. The TDP leadership is formulating the future course of action, sources said.

The Chief Minister congratulated the MPs for raising voice strongly in Parliament. The TDP president is likely to address a press conference to counter the statement, made by BJP state president and MP K Haribabu stating that the Centre had fulfilled many assurances to the state.

Earlier, TDP MPs Galla Jayadev and K Rammohan Naidu were accorded a warm welcome when they entered Guntur district at Prakasham barrage by TDP activists.

Meanwhile, large number of TDP activists took out a huge rally from the IGM stadium here on Sunday in protest against the injustice meted out by the Centre in the budget.
