C.M. KCR ordered to go Cashless Transactions

Hyderabad, Dec 5 : Finding ways to improve the states revenue, the Govt of Telangana state started its focussing to create awareness of 'cashless transactions' among the people. After organising a demo camp on online transactions for the staff of secretariat through PayTm and in other ways, CM Chandrasekhar Rao held a meeting to the Finance and other department officials on sunday.

During the meeting, CM directed officials to encourage cashless transactions in various departments and to create awareness among people on how to use mobile phones for cashless transactions.

An official said, in the collectors meeting with CM "All the collectors have been asked to initiate steps to encourage people for online transactions and the extracted views of collectors on how to face the problems over demonetization".

CM keeping his attention on common people of drawing money from banks and ATMs, he directed finance department to be in touch with RBI officials regularly, so as to make easy to bring lower denomination notes in to the state.

The state was expecting Rs 1,000 crore of lower denomination notes from RBI.
