Congress leader Revanth : PM insulted sacrifice of Telangana people

Hyderabad, Feb 08: The Telangana Congress leader A Revanth Reddy alleged that The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has insulted the sacrifices made by people of Telangana by saying the A.P. Bifurcation Bill was passed closing the Parliament doors.

At a press conference here, Mr. Reddy said the Congress gave Telangana fulfilling its long-pending demand but the BJP government has failed to fulfill the promises made in the A.P. Reorganisation Act. The Central government has failed both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Reddy said the Prime Minister's speech in Parliament on Wednesday reflected his frustration over growing Congress popularity that was evident in the Rajasthan by-elections.

He said Mr. Modi was raking up issues of Mr. Anjaiah and Mr. Sanjeeva Reddy without realising that they were made the Chief Minister and President of India respectively by the Congress party.
