Amaravati, Feb 08: The Andhra Pradesh political Parties have called for a bandh across the state on Thursday slamming the Modi government for neglecting Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget.
YSR Congress Party has also extended its support to the bandh. Y S Jagan also took a break on Thursday to take part in the Andhra Pradesh bandh in protest against the injustice meted out to the state in Union budget.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also made a call to Ramakrishna extending his party support to the bandh.
* The managements of all educational institutions in Vijayawada declared that they are closing their institutions in the city.
*Lorry owners' association general secretary YV Eswar Rao said that all export operations will be stalled and no lorries will be on the roads.
*More than 1300 APSRTC buses have been stopped in Visakhapatnam, reports media.
*CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna alleged that Chandrababu Naidu's rule of forty-four months has been a total failure and brought no good to the state. He said that they took the people of Andhra Pradesh for a ride by making false promises during 2014 elections only to leave them in the lurch now.
*Shopkeepers were forced to put the shutters down at several places across the State.
