Arun Jaitley :Special Package Funds would be Funded soon

New Delhi Feb 6: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday in Rajya Sabha has responded to the protest made by Telugu Desam party MPs in Rajya Sabha.

Jaitley has said that "I have been fully sympathizing and trying to make sure that every part of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act and the commitments made by the central government at all stages are honored and the central government fully stands by it, we are giving funds for creating institutes ".

He said that there was an issue of how the money has to be given for special package.We have announced that the funds would be given by the state of Externally Aided projects and the center would fund 90 % of the projects similar to CSS ".

He added that "Cheif Minister has written a letter in this regard because externally aided projects are delayed because they have to be approved by external agencies such as Jaica and urged to fund the money from Nabard ".

Jaitley added that "If Funds are given from NABARD it would have impact on Fiscal deficit and the state borrowing capacity would shrink and I have examined the issue and a solution would be found out"

He added that "I have called the expenditure secretary to call AP Finance secretary and a solution in this regard would be made and the amount would be the same".
